Install and Configure Sintelix Media Server

The Sintelix Media Server helps the audio transcription process.

To install the media server:

  1. Log in to MySintelix and navigate to Installers > Add-ons > Audio Transcription >  Request Add-on. A support ticket is sent to Sintelix, then you will be sent the installation file via email.
  2. When received, download it, run the MediaServerInstaller.exe, and follow the set-up instructions.
  3. Open the Media Processing server application.

    The default URL of the Media Processing Server is localhost:8084. The port number can be changed during the installation process.

  1. Click Edit Server Configuration.
  2. Do the following on the Media Processing Server Configuration page:
    1. From the Transcriber Selection dropdown, select one of the following options:
      • Speechmatics On-Premises
      • Speechmatics On-Premises (Enhanced mode)
      • No Transcription Generation
      1. Enter the server URL.

        This is the IP address shown in the batch appliance window – refer to the Install Virtual Appliance topic.

      2. Click Update.

        The server status displays the successful completion of the procedure.
